The layers on the interior of the Fashion Bed foam mattress are made of different depth layers of cotton batting and 1.2 density foam. The outer covering is 80% cotton and 20% polyester blend. The foam ensures comfort whether you are sitting and reading, watching TV or sleeping. This mattress has been tested and passed the Federal standards for flammability.

I was surprised when I received a much firmer, excellent comfort, good quality and great value futon than expected. It seems comfortable for sitting, back, side or stomach sleepers. It’s affordable and good quality. I bought this futon for a sofa located in my computer/guest/entertainment room. I highly recommend it.

This mattress is decent and comfortable enough, but I felt it became flatter very quickly (within a week of delivery). In fact, we purchased a futon cover just a week after purchasing the mattress, and the futon cover is way too baggy (even though it's the correct size). If you're looking for a thick, comfortable mattress, I suggest shopping for a 10-inch thickness instead.

Order this item on-line and was delivered on time the very next day. The mattress is firm and comfortable as this is being used in our rec room more as a couch and less as a bed. This is a good value.

Bought this futon mattress to replace and old one that will be used for extra guests. Would have liked the option of a 10" mattress but the 8" one is very comfortable and suitable. Will have to see how it holds up over time but pleased with the purchase quality.

Nice mattress. Very comfortable to sleep on. High quality construction. Very decent value for the money. I still wonder if the spring based set up is that much better for the additional money, but as a mattress for guests for one night stays, it works VERY well. The only complaint is that it is so firm, when it is in the couch position, it has to me constantly pushed upwards so it doesn't fall off the frame.
