The pillow top makes you feel like you're laying on a cloud, but the mattress itself is firm, which to me, is the perfect combination. There are no springs poking me awake, and I'll never again experience that morning ache from balancing all night around a sagging center. Now, whenever I fall into bed, I have one of those "kid in a hotel room" moments, rolling joyfully back and forth into heavenly comfort.

Despite this mattress' firm rating, it is definitely not very firm, yet firm enough to provide support for those of you that like the firmness. It has enough give, however, to make it extremely comfortable.
I used to sleep on a firmer mattress with little give, and used to wake up with back pain all the time. Ever since switching over to this mattress, i have been sleeping like a baby and my back pain is gone! Highly recommend it!

I purchased this mattress from the clearance warehouse through one of the main stores. Even though it was on clearance, there were no blemishes on the mattress and the comfort level was as I expected from testing floor models. The salesman that I worked with was extremely accommodating and did not try to force me past my feasible cost range.
