After years of buying and sleeping on "cut rate" mattresses, I decieded it was time to get a quality mattress. We shopped around and found that the folks at Sleepy's were not only very knowledgable about the product they sold but about the other competitors as well. After a no pressure shopping experiece my wife and I were able to ask our sales person the question we had and complete the transaction with no hassle. We have been on our new mattress for a little over and month and we both now wake up refreshed and with no back stiffness.
We would recommend Sleepy's to all our freinds and strangers alike. Also our new Sterns & Foster Mattress Set.

GS Stearns Luxury Series Mattress

We prefer a firm mattress, so we ordered the GS Stearns Luxury Firm after trying it in the store. Replacing a mattress 10+ years old, we took delivery and immediately noticed that today's mattresses & box springs have a greater height than those made in the past. We needed a ladder to climb into bed!
Go for the low-profile boxspring; it's 4 inches lower.
The GS Stearns Luxury Firm gave very little. If you're a side sleeper, it's a bit like sleeping on wall-to-wall carpeting. We returned it for replacement for the GS Stearns Luxury Firm Plush as it had ~3/4 inch of memory foam sewed into the top material (not a Euro Top). Regrettably, this was like sleeping on wall-to-wall carpeting with a 3/4 foam pad. The foam gave a bit, but was extremely warm as it reflected your body heat.
We ruled out the GS Stearns Luxury Firm Euro Pillow Top as there is about 2 inches of the same foam riding on top of the standard Luxury Firm mattress. The wear quality of this foam is unknown and would be equally hot.
The GS Stearns Luxury Firm mattress don't give a bit. There's just no bounce to them whatsoever. If you're a side sleeper, expect to be uncomfortable.
We ended up going with the same bed we bought our three kids, the Simmons Beautyrest Angelo Plush Firm. It has the right level of firmness for all sleeping positions.
In any case, Sleepy's was an absolute pleasure with which to do business. Delivery staff very professional and polite, too.

If you do not like memory foam, do not buy this mattress. This mattress is very heavy. Lifting this mattress to tuck in sheets is very difficult. The mattress was too heavy for the first delivery team. They could not lift the matteress up the stairs. The second delivery team made it.
If you like memory foam, this mattress is very comfortable. When I get into the bed the mattress feels great - plush. When I need to turn over, I have to lift myself up from where my body has sunk into the memory foam. I roll over (up) from a lower surface to a higher surface. After a few hours of slowely sinking into the memory foam the surface is firm. I do not like memory foam.

Great mattress. Great service. Great price. No hassles. What else could you ask for. I went in for a different type of mattress and came out with this unbelievable mattress. My husband would get up. Well worth the price. The only problem was that I couldn't sleep on it that night. What else could I say but Wow Wow Wow!!!
