The Silvia™ Plush offers a softer feeling bed with support in the center using a Three Zone Beautyrest® spring unit. Having luxury Firm Super Pocketed Coils® in the center third of the mattress supports a majority of the weight while Plush Super Pocketed Coils® at the head and foot offer support where there is less weight.

I loved this mattress initially, however, shortly after using it (approximately 3-4 months) I noticed the area where I sleep was becoming indented. I realize this is normal to some extent but the indented area is no longer comfortable and supportive and it appears to be much deeper then normal wear should be.
I've scheduled to have an inspection performed to hopefully find out the mattress is defective. I hate to think this is normal.

I have to admit that this really is a great mattress. According to my wife, it was "perfect" and "absolutely comfortable". But, If you suffer from chronic back pain like I do, stick to a firmer mattress. My problem, aside from the slipped disc and being a little on the overweight side, is that I sleep on my side, my back, and my stomach. This plush mattress is just too soft to accommodate the way I sleep. My poor wife! Just when she has gotten used to our brand new King mattress, I'm back in the store looking to exchange it for a firmer memory foam mattress. Sorry sweetheart! I should have slept on it at the store so as to make a more educated decision.

I was originally planning on buying a pillowtop because I slept on a Simmons pillowtop on vacation once which was very comfortable. After trying this in the store I decided on this plush. I replaced a 20 year old Simmons Beautyrest so obviosly this is an improvement.
I have a bad back (lumbar region) and I do sleep better but still have back issues and pain in the a.m. I guess I hoped spending this much money on a mattress would make the back pain go away but not so. I think I get a more sound sleep - not tossing and turning as much. I have also fallen asleep on my back which I was never able to do before.
I like laying down and feeling like the mattress supports me which this does. You don't sink into it like I did the pillow top but I was leary of that being to soft.
Overall this is comfortable but had I known it wouldn't help more with my back pain I probably would have selected a less expensive mattress.

It took me a few days to adjust to this mattress. After the first week of adjusting my wife and I absolutely love this mattress. I'm a side sleeper and pressure relief on my shoulders was an issue. I toss and turn less and I actually fall asleep faster because it's so comfortable. My wife has lower back pain and hip pain. The pressure relief and support.......not to mention the conformability....has improved her sleep considerably. Oh can't forget the motion separation. I'm a restless sleeper and that made for a not so restful nights sleep for my wife. With the motion separation of the super pocketed individual coils she does not feel my every move.

This mattress seemed comfortable in the store and I did test if for some time. Seemed soft but still supportive. When it was delivered I slept on it and it seemed OK. It did not have the preassure points of my old very firm mattress of another brand so I thought things were fine. After sleeping on it for a few nights my back was killing me. My body would sag signiticantly at the hips. I hoped that I would get used to the softness but after 3 months I give up. I will have to exchange this plush mattress for something a little firmer with more body support.
